Provenance
The weavers for our made in Italy accessories is a family-run firm situated near the town of Como in Italy.
Our weaver maintains in their archive room over 15,000 volumes of historical patterns and weaves. They have been collected from European libraries and private collections over the past 50-plus years.
Our partner strives to have a low ecological impact, eliminating waste toxins from and reducing its carbon footprint. “[We do this] not just for style,” the company says, “but – and especially – because in this case, style is synonymous with ethics. We are concerned about the future and protecting our planet. Consequently, we try and do what’s best for the Earth, safe in the knowledge that it belongs as much to us as it does to future generations and we intend to pass it on to them in the same state as it was to us."
